PDF is still the workhorse at concerts, churches, theatres and corporate events — lyrics, titles, scripts, decks. The hard part is stable output to projector, LED wall or Resolume Arena, with a clicker and no OBS/NDI wiring. PDF Kompaniec is a native macOS PDF presenter built for that. It is free, ships as .dmg, and runs in live production.

How to open PDF in Resolume Arena
Resolume does not ingest PDF directly — you need a video source. PDF Kompaniec sends slides as Syphon “PDF Kompaniec” on macOS: low latency, no NDI, no window capture.
- Install PDF Kompaniec and open a PDF or .kompaniec show
- Enable Syphon output (output window can stay off)
- Resolume Arena: clip → Source → Syphon → PDF Kompaniec
- Advance with clicker or operator panel — dissolve between slides
